Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist across diverse clinical settings, including outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and home health. You will help implement treatment plans to restore function and promote wellness.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program, be licensed in the state, and possess or be eligible for BLS per facility

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance and independence.
• Instruct and supervise patients in exercises, gait training, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
• Document treatment sessions, patient progress, goals and observations per policies.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home programs, injury prevention, and safe mobility.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control and HIPAA policies.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment in a safe, organized environment.
