Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide supervised physical therapy across outpatient, inpatient, and home health settings. The PTA will implement individualized plans to restore function, improve mobility, and promote patient wellness under a licensed PT.

The candidate should hold an accredited PTA associate degree, current PTA license in the practice state, and BLS certification per facility policy; prior outpatient rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• PTA license in the state of practice is required.
• BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics or rehabilitation settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote functional independence.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and use of assistive devices.
• Document treatment sessions, patient progress, and goals in EMR as per facility policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other care team members.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control practices.
