Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans across outpatient, inpatient, and home health settings.

The role emphasizes patient mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence, with documentation in EMR and collaboration with the rehab team. A state PTA license and BLS are required or policy-based.

Qualifications

• Associate degree PTA required.
• Current PTA license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Instruct and supervise therapeutic exercises and gait training.
• Monitor progress and report changes to supervising PT.
• Document sessions and patient progress in EMR per policy.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
• Maintain safety and infection prevention during therapy.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to optimize care.
