Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
• Instruct and supervise patients in therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress in EMR.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain safety and adhere to infection prevention and HIPAA policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and rehab team to coordinate care.
