Job summary

A licensed PTA with BLS and ongoing education is required, with a sign-on bonus available. Ideal candidates will hold an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and IDFPR licensure, and complete required stroke-care CEUs.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant is required.
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) with IDFPR license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• Complete required continuing education for acute stroke care and upcoming board exams.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, families, and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Follows and adjusts the plan of care in coordination with the therapist.
• Produce and maintain clinical documentation per policy.
• Complete annual education for DNV Hip and Knee programs when assigned.
