Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistance.
• Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - IDFPR (IL).
• BLS: Basic Life Support within 30 days (AHA).
• Continuing education for DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response with documentation.
• Produces documentation in accordance with CTSCP67 policy.
• Completes annual education to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements.
