Job summary

A sign-on bonus is available for this position. Requirements include an Associate’s Degree and licensure as a PTA (IDFPR), with BLS within 30 days and completion of board exams when scheduled, plus ongoing CE to meet DNV Hip/Knee standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA credential (IDFPR)
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA)
• Board exam must be completed on next available date
• Continuing education aligned with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement requirements

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care. Adjusts the treatment based on patient response and available evidence only after communicating with the evaluating therapist and documenting that communication in the daily note.
• Produces documentation in accordance with the Clinical Documentation Policy (CTSCP67).
• If applicable, completes annual education as assigned to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements.
