Qualifications

• Must hold a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Board Eligible/Required to complete board exam on next available date.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, families, and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Follows the plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response with supervisor communication.
• Documents per policy and completes daily notes in the therapy EMR.
• Possibly participates in annual education for compliance requirements.
