Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation seeks a Personal Banker to build relationships and recommend financial solutions. You’ll convert interactions into opportunities, manage a loan pipeline, and grow the customer base through proactive sourcing and cross-selling.

The role requires a HS Diploma, 2 years of sales experience, reliability for branch hours, and the ability to obtain NMLS within 90 days. Training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of retail banking sales experience.
• Ability to obtain an NMLS registration within 90 days.
• Strong product knowledge and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ask personalized questions to learn customer goals and offer financial solutions.
• Build a loan pipeline with strong closing conversions in home equity and other loans.
• Grow the customer base through networking, conversations and referrals.
• Learn and follow bank processes, risk controls and documentation.
• Meet and exceed daily performance metrics while delivering great service.
