Job summary

Truist is seeking an energetic Mortgage Sales specialist to drive marketing and referral activities for Truist Mortgage products. The role emphasizes meeting production goals while ensuring adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates will have banking or lending experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of residential mortgage products. This on-site position requires flexibility to work various hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in banking or lending with basic knowledge of residential property types.
• Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
• Must meet SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act requirements within 30 days and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute mortgage marketing plans to meet production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage strategies, policies, and investor guidelines.
• Adhere to Truist policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide sound mortgage advice based on client needs and product benefits.
• Utilize referral processes to deepen client relationships.
• Assist with document follow‑up during quality control or post‑closing.
