Job summary

Truist is seeking a Mortgage Sales/Marketing professional to drive mortgage production and referral activity in the United States. You will develop marketing plans, maintain policy knowledge, and provide sound mortgage advice aligned with client needs and Truist offerings.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in banking or lending, strong communication skills, and a clear understanding of residential mortgage products and guidelines. Travel and overtime may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in banking or lending with basic knowledge of residential property types.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in common computer applications.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Execute mortgage marketing plans to meet or exceed production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures and secondary market guidelines.
• Comply with Truist policies and federal/state laws.
• Provide mortgage guidance based on client needs and product benefits.
• Facilitate referrals to other bank solutions to deepen client relationships.
• Assist loan fulfillment with document follow-up as needed.
