Job summary

Truist is seeking a Mortgage Marketing and Sales Specialist to drive residential mortgage product adoption within bank policies. You will develop plans to meet production goals and referral targets, while deepening client relationships and cross-selling bank solutions.

Role requires 1+ year in banking or lending, strong communication and negotiation abilities, and SAFE licensing compliance within 30 days. Travel and full-time availability expected as part of this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) experience in banking and/or lending environment with basic knowledge of residential property types.
• Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Possesses solid interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in relevant computer applications.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS background check.

Responsibilities

• Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet or exceed mortgage production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines used by Truist.
• Adhere to Truist policies and procedures per internal and external rules and regulations.
• Provide mortgage clients sound mortgage advice based on client needs and Truist products.
• Consistently execute Truist's referral process by introducing mortgage clients to other bank solutions.
• Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with client, attorney, or appraiser document follow-up as determined.
