Job summary

Truist is seeking a Mortgage Sales & Marketing professional to drive mortgage product referrals and growth within the bank’s policies. The role emphasizes understanding client needs, advising on Truist Mortgage products, and collaborating with loan fulfillment teams.

The position requires strong communication, relationship-building, and knowledge of residential lending guidelines. Regular/onsite work with extensive client interaction and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in banking or lending with basic knowledge of residential property types.
• Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance within 30 days of employment and applicable background check.

Responsibilities

• Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies, and secondary market investor guidelines.
• Adhere to Truist policies and applicable state and federal laws.
• Provide mortgage advice based on client needs and Truist products.
• Execute referral process by introducing mortgage clients to other bank solutions.
• Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with client/document follow-up as needed.
