Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking a Field Service Operations Lead to manage a team of field technicians, ensuring high-quality repairs and strong customer support. The role requires hands-on diagnostics, mentoring staff, and maintaining site KPIs across multiple customer sites.

The candidate should have 6+ years in field service, 1+ year in leadership, and be able to travel locally up to 100%. This hybrid position offers a competitive pay range and incentives.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent supervisory experience in a related industry.
• 6+ years of experience, including 2–4 years in technical field service/repair and at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Willingness to travel 75%–100% within the local territory with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee up to 10 field technicians/contractors; hire, onboard, train, assign work and manage engagement.
• Monitor performance, coach staff, conduct appraisals and coordinate with HR on promotions and discipline.
• Analyze operational data to meet site KPIs and SLAs; prepare leadership reports on performance gaps.
• Lead advanced diagnostics and on-site repairs; train customers on device operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize site performance and support NPI/NSI initiatives.
