Job summary

Leidos seeks a Site Lead to supervise a field service technician team at customer sites. You will coordinate daily activities, review maintenance across multiple locations, and ensure timely, high-quality repairs while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

You will mentor junior technicians, manage schedules, and drive customer satisfaction. Expect travel to various sites, adherence to safety standards, and timely administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in related field with equivalent experience (>8 years in a related electrical or mechanical field service role).
• Networking certification such as A+ or CCNA preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Linux experience preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of troubleshooting/field repair in electrical/electronic systems.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership/supervision experience.
• Excellent communication and strong customer focus.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.
• Must pass TSA background check (eqip).

Responsibilities

• Lead a site-based team of field service technicians to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate work assignments and shift schedules with Area Manager to meet customer needs.
• Ensure SLAs at assigned sites are met and workloads are distributed efficiently.
• Mentor lower-level technicians and provide feedback to management.
• Respond to emergencies and non-scheduled calls within target response times.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and safety/compliance with policies.
• Travel up to 75% to support field service activities at customer sites.
• Maintain tools/inventory, and ensure calibration of test equipment.
