Placements24 is seeking an Event Catering Coordinator to support operations in the Paarl region. You will liaise with clients, manage event logistics, coordinate with venues and vendors, and assist the catering management team to ensure smooth execution of diverse events.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in event coordination, catering support, or hospitality is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all aspects of catering events from inquiry to execution.
• Communicate with clients to understand requirements and provide updates.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Manage event timelines and deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth flow.
• Maintain client records and event details in the booking system.
• Assist with inventory management and procurement of supplies.
• Support Catering Manager during on-site events as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and health and safety standards.
• Contribute to brainstorming new event concepts and service offerings.
