Placements24 seeks a Remote Event Catering Coordinator to manage catering logistics and client communications from anywhere. You will coordinate culinary aspects of events from booking to post-event wrap-up, liaising with clients, venues, and internal culinary teams to confirm details, menus, timelines, and delivery logistics.

The role requires 3+ years in event or catering coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with virtual collaboration tools and event

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in event coordination, catering coordination, or related hospitality role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering logistics for a portfolio of events, ensuring client specifications are met.
• Serve as primary contact for clients on catering details, menus, dietary requirements, and timelines.
• Liaise with culinary teams to confirm menu details, prep schedules, and delivery logistics.
• Collaborate with venue managers and other vendors to ensure seamless catering service integration.
• Develop and distribute event orders and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to all relevant parties.
• Manage and update event information in CRM and event management software.
• Track catering expenses and assist with event budgeting.
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene protocols are communicated to staff.
• Troubleshoot and resolve catering-related issues during planning or execution.
• Conduct virtual pre-event meetings with clients and internal teams to confirm details.
• Maintain client relationships and gather feedback to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in sourcing new catering vendors and managing vendor relationships.
