Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company in West Palm Beach is seeking a dynamic media salesperson to sell advertising solutions to local businesses and agencies, including digital options beyond TV.

You will use the Scripps Sales Process, prospect new clients, manage a CRM, analyze needs, and create customized campaigns. The role emphasizes relationship building, negotiation, and meeting revenue goals through traditional and digital media.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of proven sales success.
• Experience in strategic account management and digital execution.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Sell advertising solutions to local and regional businesses and agencies.
• Apply the SSP to analyze needs and apply customized advertising solutions.
• Facilitate digital marketing options beyond TV.
• Prospect, secure appointments, perform needs analysis, develop customized solutions, present and close sales.
• Negotiate program ratings and advertising rates with agencies to maximize revenue.
• Serve as trusted advisor, grow accounts and gain referrals.
• Perform client services including media avail negotiations, copy writing, and revenue collection.
• Manage sales funnel using CRM and monitor KPIs.
• Contribute to campaign development and production aspects.
• Build and maintain client relationships, including entertaining prospects.
• Perform administrative tasks like makegoods, CRM updates, and communications with leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
