Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Account Executive to drive local advertising sales across multiple platforms.

You will apply the Scripps Sales Process to analyze client needs and deliver customized advertising solutions, including digital marketing options alongside TV airtime. You will prospect, present, and close new business, using ratings data and market trends to maximize revenue, while maintaining strong client relationships and excellent service.

Qualifications

• BS/BA preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• 2+ years of proven sales success preferred.
• Experience in strategic account management, broadcast ratings and digital execution preferred.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with company required limits.

Responsibilities

• Sell advertising solutions to local and regional businesses and agencies.
• Apply SSP to analyze needs and tailor advertising solutions.
• Facilitate digital marketing options beyond TV airtime.
• Prospect, secure appointments, analyze needs, present and close new business.
• Manage CRM to track activity and revenue, meet KPIs.
