Job summary

InReach in Waxhaw, NC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (Independent Contractors) to provide companionship, care, and support for a young male with developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living, transport to programs, and monitor medications as needed.

A high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and passing a drug screen and background check are required; 1–2 years I/DD experience preferred.

Qualifications

We Hire:
Direct Support Professionals (DSP s ) willing to make a difference in someone's life by providing companionship, care, and support .

We Need:
InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a young male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Waxhaw, NC area of Union County. Staff will provide Community Living and Support Services and Respite Services for approx 15 hours a week. Opportunity for 28 hours per week on non-school days

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (4:30pm to 7:30pm) and Saturday (9am to 3pm)
Pay Rate: CLS Service @ 20.35/hr and Respite Services @ $16.07/hr

What You'll Do :

*** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
