Job summary

InReach seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist an adult female with developmental disabilities in the Charlotte area (28227). The role is an Independent Contractor position providing Respite, CN, and SE services for 32 hours per week, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Compensation includes Respite $16.07/hr, CN $22.27/hr, and SE $23.07/hr. Eligible candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, pass a drug screen and background check, and

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruction and assistance in home living environments.
• Help individual identify and acquire valued social roles.
• Facilitate community integration.
• Help individual develop healthy social habits.
• Dispense medication and monitor dosages.
• Transport and accompany to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities.

We Need:

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a female Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Charlotte area, 28227. Staff will provide Respite, Community Networking, and Supported Employment Services for 32 hours a week.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday: 9a-3p

Pay Rate:

• Respite: $16.07/hr.
• CN: $22.27/hr
• SE: $23.07/hr

*** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
