Job summary

InReach is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Charlotte area (28227) to provide companionship, care, and support. The role is an Independent Contractor position offering Respite and Community Living/Support Services for 28 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

Pay rate is listed as CLS: $20.35/hr, and duties include in-home instruction, social role development, community integration, and transportation support. Strong preference for experience with the I/DD population.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
• One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

We Need:

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Charlotte area, 28227. Staff will provide Respite and Community Living and Support Services for 28 hours a week.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 4p-8p


• Sunday: 10a-6p


• Saturday hours available as well!

Pay Rate:

CLS: $20.35/hr.

*** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
