Job summary

InReach is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) as Independent Contractors to support an adult male with developmental disabilities in Union County, Indian Trail, NC. Schedule is roughly 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with responsibilities including in-home support, community integration, and transportation.

Applicants must have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and pass a drug screen and background check. Prior I/DD experience is preferred.

• 1–2 years of I/DD experience preferred.

We Need:

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for an Adult Male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Union County area of Indian Trail, NC. Staff will provide Day Support Services, Community Networking, and Supported Employment Services for approx 40 hours a week.

Must be able to handle and transport a Wheelchair Must be able to handle a service animal

Schedule:

Monday thru Friday (8am to 4pm)

Pay Rate:

Day Support @ $22.52/hr / Community Networking @ $22/27/hr / Supported Employment @ $ 23.07/hr

All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

*** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
