Job summary

InReach seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Union County area of Indian Trail, NC to provide Day Support, Community Networking, and Supported Employment services for roughly 40 hours weekly. This Independent Contractor role requires assisting with daily living, social integration, and transportation, with a focus on adults with I/DD.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and pass a drug screen and background check; 1–2 years I/DD experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma (or GED).
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
• One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

We Need:

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for an Adult Male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Union County area of Indian Trail, NC. Staff will provide Day Support Services, Community Networking, and Supported Employment Services for approx 40 hours a week.

Must be able to handle and transport a Wheelchair Must be able to handle a service animal

Schedule:

Monday thru Friday (8am to 4pm)

Pay Rate:

Day Support @ $22.52/hr / Community Networking @ $22/27/hr / Supported Employment @ $ 23.07/hr

*** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
