Job summary

Tortilla King LLC is seeking a DSD Coordinator / Manager to build and manage a network of regional and independent distributors delivering consumer food products directly to retail stores. Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in DSD, distribution management, or field sales within the consumer food industry.
• Direct experience managing regional and independent distributors, including knowledge of distributor economics and route ownership models.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, develop reports, and recommend actionable improvements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with DSD receiving processes, route management software, and retail merchandising standards.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with regional and independent DSD distributors throughout an assigned territory.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop distributor partners to expand market coverage and address geographic gaps.
• Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate route performance, account penetration, and sales results.
• Hold distributors accountable for service standards, including on-time delivery, order accuracy, and retail compliance.
• Resolve issues involving invoicing, returns, inventory, and account conflicts.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for distributor concerns.
