Job summary

ZOLLERN North America L.P. in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, seeks a Workshop Manager & Technical Service Specialist to lead repair, assembly, and service activities within the workshop.

You will coordinate subcontractors, supervise procurement and inventory of parts, and plan customer orders and service projects in the ERP system while maintaining safety and quality. This role requires travel up to 20% and close collaboration with sales, engineering, and operations to ensure on-time, cost-efficient

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on assembly, maintenance, and repair of gearboxes and winches.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with drive technology experience.
• Structured, independent working style with high responsibility and reliability.
• Experience in customer service or field service is desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel internationally (~20%).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all workshop operations for repairs, assembly, and service.
• Coordinate subcontractors and monitor performance and quality.
• Manage procurement, inventory, and spare parts for workshop activities and customer projects.
• Plan and monitor customer orders and service projects in the ERP system.
• Ensure quality through inspections and final checks before delivery.
• Lead workshop staff and drive continuous improvement.
