Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all workshop operations for repair, assembly, and service activities.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, including scheduling and quality assurance.
• Manage procurement and inventory of spare parts, consumables, and external services.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor customer orders, repair jobs, and service projects within the ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards through inspections and final checks.
• Manage workshop resources, including personnel, equipment, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, purchasing, and operations for timely project execution.
• Monitor project costs, delivery schedules, and performance indicators.
• Support customer communications regarding repair status and delivery schedules.
• Review technical documentation and repair specifications to ensure accurate execution.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on productivity, quality, safety, and processes.
• Maintain records of workshop activities, procurement, and inspections in ERP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and management of all workshop operations, ensuring efficient execution of repair, assembly, and service activities.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and quality assurance.
• Manage procurement and inventory of auxiliary materials, spare parts, consumables, and external services to support workshop activities and customer projects.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor customer orders, repair jobs, and service projects within the ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards through inspections, process controls, and final quality checks before delivery.
• Manage workshop resources, including personnel, equipment, tools, and capacity planning to meet customer and business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
• Monitor project costs, delivery schedules, and performance indicators to achieve operational and financial targets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the assembly, maintenance, and repair of gearboxes and winches.
• Strong technical understanding and affinity for mechanical systems, ideally in drive technology.
• Structured and independent working style with a high level of responsibility and reliability.
• Experience in customer service or technical field service is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel, including international assignments (approx. 20%).
• Team player with strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to professionally interact with clients on-site and represent the company.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (Sage) is a plus.
• Participation in ongoing technical training and willingness to continuously develop skills.
