Responsibilities

• Assemble, maintain, overhaul, troubleshoot and repair gearboxes and winches.
• Plan and coordinate workshop repair and service activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, spare parts, and workshop resources.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure work meets standards.
• Support customers with repair updates and technical requirements.
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting at customer sites when required.
• Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations.
• Support continuous improvement in quality, safety, and productivity.

Ponchatoula, Louisiana

Full-time | Mid-Senior Level

Travel: Approx. 20%, including international assignments

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician with strong hands-on experience in gearboxes, winches, and industrial mechanical systems.

This is a hands-on role combining workshop operations, mechanical repair, troubleshooting, customer support, and field service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly, maintenance, overhaul, troubleshooting, and repair of gearboxes and winches
• Plan and coordinate workshop repair and service activities
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, spare parts, and workshop resources
• Perform quality inspections and ensure work meets technical standards
• Support customers with repair updates and technical requirements
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting at customer sites when required
• Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations

Requirements

• Willingness to travel approximately 20%, including internationally
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• ERP/Sage and MS Office experience are a plus
