Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Sales Representative in Texas to manage the sales process and deliver outstanding customer service. You will help customers find and design their dream home and ensure a smooth sales process from inquiry to closing.

You will source new opportunities, network with realtors, and collaborate with the team to meet sales targets while maintaining accurate transaction documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or 2 years related experience.
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be able to drive daytime or nighttime.
• Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to stand/walk for 4 hours or a full 8-hour day; lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition to potential customers.
• Uncover goals and challenges, then position DR Horton as the best solution.
• Overcome objections and close the sale.
• Maintain documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction.
• Continually source new sales opportunities.
• Develop and present a marketing plan for new customer relationships.
• Network and perform outreach to realtors.
• Meet sales goals and collaborate with team members.
• Expand the database of prospects and attend sales meetings.
• Build rapport with customers, realtors, and colleagues.
