Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative to manage the sales process and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will source new customers, help buyers design their dream home, and ensure a smooth sales journey, from initial contact through loan options and construction. You will effectively communicate the value proposition, uncover customer goals, overcome objections, and close deals. The role emphasizes teamwork, time management, and building strong relationships with realtors

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2 years related experience.
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be able to drive in daytime or nighttime.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• Regular exposure to outside weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition to potential customers.
• Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges to position DR Horton as the best solution.
• Overcome objections and close sales.
• Maintain documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction.
• Continually source new sales opportunities.
• Develop and present marketing plans for new customer relationships.
• Network and perform outreach to realtors.
• Manage time to meet sales goals and collaborate with team.
