Clayton Homes Texarkana is hiring a Home Consultant to help customers select floor plans, options, and coordinate construction, delivering a world-class buying experience. You will set appointments, present home features, and follow up with prospects via the CRM.

The role emphasizes relationship selling, team collaboration, and strong communication in a retail environment. Base pay starts at $50k with an attractive commission plan and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship-driven B2C sales experience.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements for manufactured homes.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and stay organized.
• Ability to work schedule including Saturdays.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to walk and show homes in all seasons; lift up to 75 lbs.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to identify a floor plan, select options, and coordinate the construction process.
• Set home center visits using the prospect database and web leads.
• Demonstrate features and benefits of display homes to create value.
• Maintain customer files and follow up with prospective buyers via CRM.
• Merchandise and maintain model appearances; assist with inventory decisions.
• Prospect and develop a marketing plan to increase center traffic.
• Attend sales meetings, trainings, and company-sponsored events.
