Job summary

Clayton is hiring a Home Consultant in Texarkana, TX. You will guide customers through floor plans, options, and the construction process to create a best-in-class home buying experience.

Ideal candidates excel in relationship sales, communication, and teamwork, with the ability to walk lots, show homes, and lift items up to 75 lbs. Licensing and background checks apply, with a strong commission-based earning potential.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship driven business to consumer sales preferred.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasons.
• Ability to move and lift furniture up to 75 lbs.
• Subject to criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Create a world class home buying experience by guiding customers to identify floor plans and options.
• Set home center visits by converting ad calls and web leads to appointments.
• Demonstrate display homes and explain features and benefits to buyers.
• Participate in all sales meetings, training opportunities and company functions.
• Maintain customer files and perform timely follow-up using the company CRM.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory selection, and maintaining model home appearances.
