Job summary

White Star Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to manage container moves across ports, ramps, and warehouses by partnering with a reliable, cost-efficient carrier network.

You will negotiate rates, track operational details, and maintain GPS tracking to ensure on-time performance. You will build your own carrier network, onboard new carriers monthly, and keep operations compliant with Risk & Compliance.

Qualifications

• Drayage, intermodal or freight brokerage experience preferred.
• Knowledge of port and rail ramp operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover moves between ports, rail ramps, and warehouses with vetted carriers.
• Negotiate rates and keep dozens of containers on track with active GPS tracking.
• Build and grow a direct carrier network, onboard new carriers monthly.
• Escalate issues to Risk & Compliance when something looks off.
