Qualifications

• Experience in freight brokerage and understanding of carrier networks and transportation modes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for interactions with carriers and internal teams.
• Proven ability to develop, maintain, and grow long-term carrier relationships (account management).
• Sales skills including negotiation, prospecting, and closing carrier opportunities.
• Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian transportation regulations and 3PL/logistics best practices.
• Proficiency with basic computer apps (Excel, email, CRM/TMS).

Responsibilities

• Prospect and onboard new carrier partners.
• Manage and grow existing carrier accounts to ensure coverage and service quality.
• Negotiate rates and secure capacity for customer freight across drayage, intermodal, truckload and LTL.
• Track loads and resolve service issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service to meet performance targets.
• Maintain accurate records in company systems and monitor market conditions.
