Express Logistics is seeking a proactive Carrier Sales Representative (Freight Broker) to join our fast-paced transportation team. You will build lasting relationships with carriers and internal teams to move freight efficiently across the U.S.

In this role you will quote freight, negotiate rates, secure capacity, and manage truckload shipments using our TMS. A strong sense of urgency, problem-solving skills, and multitasking ability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or freight brokerage.
• Proven ability to quote freight and understand market pricing.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and internal operations teams
• Quote freight accurately and competitively based on market conditions and shipment requirements
• Negotiate rates and secure capacity to ensure profitable and reliable shipments
• Book and manage truckload and expedite freight
• Enter and maintain shipment details within the Transportation Management System (TMS)
• Communicate proactively with drivers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure on-time delivery
• Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep freight moving without disruption
