DSJ Global partners with leading 3PL providers to deliver freight solutions across truckload, LTL, ocean, air, and intermodal networks in North America. We are seeking a motivated carrier sales professional to build carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and secure capacity.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years carrier sales, freight brokerage, logistics, transportation, or related sales experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls each day.
• Competitive, resilient, and motivated by goals, performance, and success.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience working with transportation management systems, load boards, and logistics technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with motor carriers through proactive phone outreach, networking, and daily communication.
• Source and secure carrier capacity for customer freight across North America.
• Negotiate spot and contract transportation rates while maximizing profitability and service levels.
• Build a reliable carrier network and identify new capacity opportunities to support customer demand.
• Communicate load requirements, transit updates, and shipment details with carrier dispatchers and drivers.
• Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery and proactively resolve service issues.
• Track market trends, seasonality, lane dynamics, and capacity fluctuations to drive competitive pricing decisions.
• Update transportation management systems with load status, carrier activity, and shipment details.
• Partner closely with customer operations, account management, and sales teams to ensure exceptional service execution.
• Consistently hit activity, coverage, and profitability goals in a high-volume environment.
