Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking an entry-level donor center assistant to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the screening process. You will perform basic health assessments and document results, while upholding privacy and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with registration, answering donor questions, and maintaining accurate electronic records. Training may expand duties and involve cross-training in related areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service role, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and register them for screening.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening and health history procedures.
• Perform health screenings such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature; conduct finger stick hematocrit/total protein tests.
• Educate donors on the screening process and center policies as training allows.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Answer phone calls and assist or transfer inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment following HSE and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and cross-train in other areas as needed.
