Job summary

CSL Vifor operates a plasma collection center seeking an entry-level Donor Center Clerk. You will greet donors, guide them through registration, conduct health screening steps, and assist with the screening process under SOPs. Role includes data entry, donor education, and basic inquiries.

Training will cover how to assess health histories, perform basic health checks, and reference center policies. Strong attention to safety, confidentiality, and customer service is essential in this on-site

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three months in clerical or customer service in medical/health provider setting.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
• Bilingual skills may be required, at the discretion of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history, medical questions, and basic health screening such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature.
• Explain the screening process, health tests performed, appointment system, center policies, nutrition, and other donor information; answer donor questions timely and accurately.
• Register and transfer donors as needed after appropriate training; respond to donor inquiries by phone or transfer to staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions during or after pheresis and alert appropriate staff; ensure donor data is accurately recorded in the donor information system.
