Job summary

CSL is seeking a donor center screener in Rapid City, SD to greet donors and conduct registration to verify eligibility for plasma pheresis. You will assist with the screening process, health history review, basic medical questions, and finger-stick testing.

Training may lead to donor education and cross-training across center operations. Responsibilities include documenting donor data, answering phone inquiries, and maintaining safety and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors at the plasma collection center and conducting registration procedures to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history review, medical questions, referrals to medical staff, and basic health screening (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature).
• Perform finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on use of therapeutic products from donated plasma after training.
• Register and transfer donors as needed; answer phones and direct inquiries.
