Job summary

CSL is seeking a center staff member to greet plasma donors, conduct registration, and perform standard screening procedures to confirm donor suitability. You will collect health information, record vital signs, and perform a finger-stick hematocrit/total protein test after training.

Responsibilities include educating donors on the donation process, maintaining accurate electronic records, and addressing donor inquiries while adhering to SOPs and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Perform screening procedures including health history review, medical questions, and referrals to medical staff as needed.
• Measure health screening parameters such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature; perform finger-stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein.
• Maintain donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Ensure donor questions are answered timely, accurately, and professionally.
• Communicate center policies, safety procedures, and information on donation processes to donors.
