Job summary

CSL is seeking an on-site donor center screener to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the screening process. You will perform health checks, collect basic samples, and answer donor questions.

After training, you may educate donors on plasma-derived products and center policies while maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality. Responsibilities include registering and transferring donors per center needs, handling calls, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors at the plasma collection center and conducting registration procedures to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process including health history, medical questions, and basic health screening procedures
• Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma after appropriate training
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed based on training and center needs
• Answer telephone inquiries or route calls to appropriate staff
• Monitor donor reactions during/after pheresis and notify staff as needed
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and promote safety
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information
• Cross-train in other areas as needed and maintain bilingual capabilities if required
