Job summary

CSL at a plasma collection center is seeking a Donor Center Clerk to greet donors, conduct screening procedures, and ensure accurate data entry in the donor information system. You will support the donor experience by answering questions, explaining processes, and maintaining safety and confidentiality throughout the donation.

The role involves assisting with registration, transferring donors when needed, and contributing to a clean, organized work environment while adhering to SOPs and OSHA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct donor screening procedures.
• Educate new donors on screening process, tests, policies, nutrition, and center procedures.
• Register applicant and transfer donors as needed after training.
• Answer phones and transfer calls to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor safety during and after the pheresis process and alert staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean and efficient work environment and ensure supplies and forms are available.
• Follow Health Safety & OSHA policies and promote safety in all actions.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information.
