Job summary

CSL Plasma Center is seeking a donor screening assistant to greet donors, verify eligibility, and perform initial health checks. You will ensure proper documentation, assist with registration, and provide information about the donation process.

Role includes data entry, answering inquiries, and maintaining safety protocols. Previous clerical or customer service experience is preferred, with willingness to learn and operate under SOPs.

Qualifications

• Greeting donors and guiding them through the screening process
• Accurately recording donor data and basic health measurements
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist donors with screening, health history, and basic questions
• Perform initial health checks (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger-stick collection
• Educate donors about processes, policies, and center procedures
• Maintain donor data entry in the electronic system and ensure data confidentiality
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to appropriate staff
• Observe donor well-being during and after pheresis and alert staff to issues
