Job summary

CSL is seeking a donor center assistant to greet donors, guide them through the screening process, and perform health checks per SOPs. You will collect basic health data, educate donors after training, and help with donor registration.

A focus on accurate record-keeping and donor safety is essential. Applicants should have a high school diploma and at least 3 months in clerical or customer service roles, preferably in healthcare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service, preferably in a medical setting.
• Basic math calculations ability.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability.
• Assist donors with screening procedures per SOPs, including health history and medical questions.
• Perform health screenings such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature; collect hematocrit and protein samples.
• Educate donors on plasma-derived products and center policies after training.
• Register and transfer donors as needed; answer calls and direct inquiries.
• Monitor donor safety during and after pheresis and notify staff of any issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system and maintain confidentiality.
