Job summary

CSL Vifor's Arlington, TX plasma donation center is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented donor center assistant to greet donors, conduct screenings, and support operations. You will ensure donor suitability, complete screenings per SOPs, and maintain precise donor data in the information system.

The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and adherence to center policies, with opportunities to educate donors and cross-train in other areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process per SOPs.
• Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight and temperature.
• Educate donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma as trained.
• Register applicants and transfer donors based on training needs.
• Answer telephone inquiries or transfer calls to appropriate staff.
• Maintain alertness to any donor reactions and notify appropriate staff.
• Document donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to HSE/OSHA policies.
• Remain confidential about personnel, donor and center information.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed and assist with donor flow issues.
