Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Donor Center Screener to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the screening and registration process at our center in the Delaware County area. The role involves health screenings, data entry, and adherence to SOPs.

After training, you may educate donors about the screening and policies, assist with donor registration, and handle inquiries. Occasional cross-training and bilingual capability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months clerical or customer service experience, preferably in medical/health setting.
• Will perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and conduct registration procedures per SOPs.
• Assist donors with screening procedures (health history, questions, referrals) and perform health screenings (BP, pulse, weight, temp).
• Perform finger stick for hematocrit and protein testing.
• Educate donors on procedures and policies after training.
• Register applicants/transfer donors as needed.
• Answer phones and route inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor safety during/after pheresis and alert staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Maintain clean work environment and ensure supplies; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
