Job summary

CSL is seeking a donor center support professional to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the screening process. You will perform health checks, record results, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced plasma center environment.

After training, you may educate donors about therapeutic products from plasma and assist in donor registration or transfers as needed. Bilingual skills may be required, with adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for pheresis.
• Assist donors in screening, including health history, medical questions, and health screening like BP, pulse, weight, temperature.
• Perform finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on the donation process and center policies after training.
• Register applicants or transfer donors as needed per training and center needs.
• Answer phones and route inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic management system per SOPs.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies; maintain confidentiality of all information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and may require bilingual skills.
