Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Donor Center Associate to welcome donors, guide them through screening, and conduct health checks per SOPs. You will educate donors about the donation process and products, register donors, and maintain accurate electronic records in a fast-paced center.

You may assist with phone inquiries, support donor flow, and collaborate with clinical staff while protecting donor confidentiality and safety. Training enables cross-functional duties and bilingual support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 months experience in a clerical or customer service role, preferably in healthcare.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability.
• Assist with screening procedures per SOPs, including health history reviews and medical questions.
• Perform health screening tasks (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature) and collect hematocrit/total protein samples.
• Educate donors about therapeutic products, screening, appointment system, and policies.
• Register or transfer donors as needed after training.
• Answer calls and route inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors during pheresis and report issues to staff.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Maintain confidentiality and a clean, safe work environment.
• Cross-train in other areas and accommodate bilingual needs if required.
