Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Donor Center Associate to greet donors and guide them through screening for plasma pheresis. You will perform health checks, collect required data, and educate donors on procedures and safety protocols.

This role requires attention to detail, customer service experience, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position involves helping with registration, basic math tasks, and occasional cross-training in related areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability for the pheresis process.
• Assist donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, and refer to medical staff when appropriate.
• Perform health screening procedures (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature) and a finger stick for hematocrit/total protein.
• Educate donors on the screening process, tests performed, appointment system, center policies, nutrition, and product information.
• Maintain accurate donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff; communicate donor flow and issues to supervisors.
• Follow HSE/OSHA policies and ensure a clean, safe work environment; wear PPE as required.
