Job summary

CSL is seeking an on-site Donor Center Associate to greet donors, verify eligibility and assist with screening at the plasma collection center. You will perform health checks, collect basic data, and help educate donors on center processes after training.

Responsibilities include registering donors, answering calls, monitoring donor well-being, and maintaining confidentiality. Cross-training and bilingual ability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 months clerical or customer service experience in a medical or health provider environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist in donor screening per SOPs, including health history, medical questions, and vital signs.
• Explain screening process, health tests, appointment system, and center policies after training.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed.
• Answer telephone calls or route to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor reactions during/after pheresis and alert staff.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Understand policies for hyper immune programs at the center.
• Maintain clean work environment and ensure supplies; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain donor, personnel, and center information confidentiality.
• May cross-train in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required, at the organization’s discretion.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
